2008 Scatter Rally Championship
From April-September 2008 a Scatter Rally Championship will be held in conjunction with other open Scatter Rallies in Skåne. An open Scatter Rally is one that is not restricted by club membership or by specific invitation.
During these rallies championship points will be collected by the driver, co-driver, and vehicle (3 classes of vehicle).
In September a Champion will be select in the following categories:
Driver
Co-driver
Class 1 (Vehicles up to 1968)
Class 2 (Vehicles 1969-1978)
Class 3 (Vehicles 1979-1988)
Each Class is open to the following vehicles; moped, motorcycle, and car.
Competitors can choose between the Scatter Rally and Roadbook Rally at each event. Championship points from either will be the same.
Championship points earned at each rally will be from 0-100 based on the percentage of points received.
To cover cost and prizes there is a one-time registration fee of 50 SEK per category entered. The championship registration fee is in addition to any finishing fee, or Roadbook fee for the individual Scatter Rally.
Due to the format and layout of the Scatter Rally, all vehicles have an equal chance of winning, no matter their age or engine capacity.
