During 2010 we are planning a number of different Scatter Rallies in the Halland region. The goal behind the Scatter Rallies is to give everyone the opportunity to get out in their vehicles and visit places in the different kommun that they may otherwise never visit.

To accommodate the differing motor enthusiasts we will be holding two different types of rallies at the same time, the Scatter Rally and the Roadbook Rally.

The Scatter Rally leaves most of the route planning and time schedules up to the individual competitor and is well suited for the single driver, either in a car, motor-cycle, or moped. It is also a lot of fun with a co-drivers and the complete family. The rally is based on completing a series of task and getting to the finish point as close to the posted finish time as possible.

The Roadbook Rally is a more traditional rally with a fixed starting point, defined route, time schedule, and finish point. The Roadbook is based on Tulip Symbols and requires a co-driver to read off the direction changes to the driver. Don't panic, this is not as complicated as it sounds, once you understand the layout of the Roadbook you will be itching to get out on the road.

Both rallies finish at the same place and within the same time frame. So, no matter which of the rallies you compete in, you will meet up with all the other competitors at the finish.

Select either Scatter Rally or Roadbook Rally to find out more details about the rallies, and have a look at the pages explaining how a typical rally would unfold.
